Objectives:
- Provide a FUN baseball experience for each camper.
- Teach and enhance each player's baseball skills.
- Foster in each player a love for the game of baseball.
Areas of Instruction:
- Mornings feature skills and drills that develop outfielding, infielding, pitching, hitting, and baserunning.
- Afternoons focus on live games to reinforce the skills learned earlier in the day.
- Each day offers home run derby and run-the-bases.
- Fridays are for skills competitions in the areas of throwing accuracy, a bunting competition, and a home run derby. There is also a sliding competition on Slip-N-Slides.
- Players are given awards for leadership, hustle, offensive output, and for making great plays.
What to Bring:
- Mid-morning snack, lunch, and water.
- Baseball equipment including bat, glove, spikes, and baseball pants.
- Lots of sunscreen.
- On Friday, lunch is provided and players will need to change into bathing suits for the Slip-N-Slides.
